Marketed in Europe since the beginning of July, the new BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO2 tyre will be, according to the Bibendum brand, endowed with more robustness, a longer lifespan and more adherence. These characteristics enable the new Michelin product to confront driving conditions and to approach the most difficult of them, notably asphalt, gravel roads and sandy, muddy or snowy roads.

This pneumatic uses CoreGardTM technology, which protects the side. By creating a wider and thicker shoulder, the technology makes this tyre more resistant to perforations and shock. The tyre tread is not exempt from improvements: new sculpture, specially formulated rubber to last longer and to reduce abrasions and cuts due to gravel. The tyre also possesses stone ejectors in order to limit penetration of objects in the tyre tread.

According to the brand, the BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO2 tyre is aimed at “off road” driving enthusiasts as well as anyone who often drives on these roads: gravel, mud and snow. In fact, the tyre boasts the 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain SnowFlake) certification, which is recognizable by the pictogram with the three mountain peaks and a snowflake. It is therefore possible to use this tyre in winter, including places where snow tyres snow are compulsory.
