Lassa, which is the main Turkish tyre brand, manufactured in Europe by Brisa, submitted three tyres at the Autopromotec exhibition which took place in Bologna from May 20 to 24. These new products will be sold from September 2015.
Lassa is preparing for winter
Wintus 2, the announced successor of Wintus 1, is a winter tyre exclusively created for light trucks. The tread has been enhanced to enhance the evacuation of water and mud. Brisa made “18 dimensions ranging from 14 to 16”, explains le Pneumatique.
Competus Winter 2 is designed for 4×4 and SUVs and Lassa assured that the performance of this model on wet roads has been improved.
Finally, Lassa will launch a new range for commercial vehicles named Maxiways 100S. Two dimensions will be available from September: 215/75R17.5 126/124M and 225/75R17.5 129/127M.
Quality, safety and sustainability are the keywords
All these tyres have been designed with Brisa’s latest technology, says the manufacturer. “Large investments in research and development as well as more efficient products enables us to develop tyres offering better returns in terms of safety, quality and durability.”
Halit Sensoy, in charge of Lassa international sales and marketing, added: “Looking forward, we will continue to steadily broaden the range of our line-up of tyres that will make use of the most advanced technologies as well as the latest developments, with the ultimate goal that will, in return, provide our customers with quality products that are safer and last longer.”
The three new tyres are expected in September in France. They will be distributed by Copadex and you will found them on Lassa’s recently updated website.
